MindHabits and affiliates, partners and licensors
are committed to controlling the collection, use and disclosure
of the personal information provided by its customers.
This Customer Privacy Statement is a simplified version of the MindHabits
Privacy Policy ("MH Privacy Policy") to ensure the accuracy,
confidentiality and integrity of your personal information.
The MindHabits Privacy Policy is modeled after the Canadian Standards
Association Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information
and is compliant with federal and provincial private sector privacy
laws including the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic
Documents Act. A summary of the ten principles of fair information
practices adopted in the MindHabits Privacy Policy is included at
the end of this Privacy Statement.
The application of this Customer Privacy Statement and the MindHabits
Privacy Policy is subject to the requirements or provisions of any
applicable legislation, regulations, tariffs or agreements (such
as collective agreements), or the order of any court or other lawful
authority. Various legal criteria independent of this Customer Privacy
Statement and the MindHabits Privacy Policy will determine whether
federal or provincial privacy legislation applies to the personal
information that a member of MindHabits collects, uses or discloses
in respect of its customers or employees. This Customer Privacy
Statement and the MindHabits Privacy Policy do not replace those
criteria and nothing in these documents should be construed as indicating
which privacy legislation, if any, applies to the collection, use
and disclosure of personal information by MindHabits.
